The operator's report on the foodstuffs of animal origin received from the European Single Market

The intra-EU trade operator is obliged to submit a report to authorities on certain foodstuffs of animal origin received from the European Single Market. Regulation of the Finnish Food Authority on the duty to notify the foods of animal origin imported from the European Union to Finland came into effect in November 1st 2021. The foodstuffs should be reported starting from November 1st through an online service or by a form. Report can be done in periods of three months. Details of the foodstuffs to be reported can be found from the appendix of the regulation. Instructions for reporting can be found at the forms (e-form and normal form). 

Do not bring African swine fever to Finland

Please be aware that the intra-EU trade of pig meat, boar meat and meat products, raw meat products and other products containing meat of these animal species is restricted due to African swine fever (ASF) from certain areas of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Slovakia, Germany, Czech Republik, and Croatia.
