The Finnish Food Authority has entered into an agreement with Helsinki University on collaboration aimed at enhancing and developing the prerequisites of research and collaboration for researchers, and at offering students greater possibilities to studying and further education in areas of food safety and the health and well-being of animals.
Collaboration is aimed at developing, expanding and utilizing the cross-scientific expertise of each party as regards research and development activities: by carrying out joint research and development projects, cooperating in administrating research funding (e.g. EU project funding, TEKES funding) and cooperating to develop basic, advanced and updating training.
