A product-specific list of biological control agents that are accepted by Finnish Food Authority, can be found from this website. These products can be use according to producer's instructions in listed crops. The suitability of certain products to crops should be confirmed from producers. If adverse phytosanitary effects appear, for example excessive damage to crops or contaminated products, this must be notified to Finnish Food Authority.
The use of products to control regulated plant pests, such as Liriomyza huidobrensis or Liriomyza trifolii, is not allowed without Finnish Food Authority's permission.
