The state's regional government will be reformed at the turn of the year 2025‒2026. Regional State Administrative Agencies’ tasks related to animals and food will be transferred to the Finnish Food Authority. In connection with the change, the site may have flaws in the first few days of January.

Please note that:

The New Zealand authority has added a declaration on canine influenza to the import requirements for cats and dogs. This means that the following declaration has to be found on the export certificates for dogs and cats:

For at least 21 days prior to shipment:

  1. a) The cat or dog has not been kept in a place where there were cats or dogs showing clinical signs of infectious respiratory disease; and
  2. b) The cat or dog has not shown clinical signs of infectious respiratory disease.

The declaration mentioned above can be added to the template currently in use, or a new template for the certificate can be downloaded from the pages of the New Zealand authority.
