In Turkey, the competent authority responsible for animal import requirements is the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.

A certificate model that can be used for the import of pet animals (dogs, cats, and ferrets) into Turkey from all countries of origin is available on the ministry’s website. The name of the certificate is Veterinary Health and Origin Certificate for Domestic Dogs, Cats and Ferrets entering the Republic of Turkey.

The Turkish certificate can be found on the ithalat website maintained by the Turkish authorities, under the heading Hayvan, Hayvansal Yan Ürün ve Üreme Ürünleri İçin Veteriner Sağlık Sertifikaları (İthalat) – TÜM ÜLKELER (all countries).
