Eligibility for the post of municipal veterinarian by those who have received their qualifications in EU/EEA countries

Citizens of countries belonging to the European Union or the European Economic Area who have obtained the qualifications of a veterinarian in a country other than Finland belonging to the aforementioned regions cannot act as municipal veterinarians without obtaining additional qualifications. A separate course, organised by the University of Eastern Finland, must be taken to obtain additional qualifications. More information can be found at the links on the right side of the page.
