The state's regional government will be reformed at the turn of the year 2025‒2026. Regional State Administrative Agenciestasks related to animals and food will be transferred to the Finnish Food Authority. In connection with the change, the site may have flaws in the first few days of January.

Contamination sources of EHEC bacteria

The aim of the project is to produce information for the management of the risks caused by EHEC in Finnish food production. With the help of the information produced it will be possible to plan and target EHEC risk management cost efficiently, without compromising the safety of food production.

The aims of the project

  • qualitative risk assessment of EHEC in Finnish food production
  • assessment of the efficiency of current risk management methods
  • survey of the risk management methods in use and the cost of these methods
  • development of the risk assessment methods
