The guide on the control of food contact materials has been updated and entered into force on 15 August 2026. In addition to the Finnish version, the guide is also available in Swedish.
The main changes compared with the previous version are:
- the structure and wording of the guide have been revised to improve clarity
- the text of the guide has been condensed
- the functionality of the links included in the guide has been checked
- the legislation references have been updated
- a glossary has been added at the beginning of the guide.
