Oiva is a system for reporting food control report information coordinated by the Finnish Food Authority. Under Oiva, food control authorities assess the food safety of businesses. Food business inspection reports are published using smileys as food inspection authorities carry out inspections.
You can see the Oiva report in the entrance of a business, for example near the door, at the sales counter or on the establishment’s website. You can also check out a restaurant’s rating yourself by searching on the Oiva website.
