Verification of a good situation in terms of paratuberculosis in dairy cattle and certification to support dairy farming

Aims:

The objective is to verify Finland’s favourable situation regarding paratuberculosis, to improve the diagnostics of the disease, and to create a framework for a voluntary prevention programme for paratuberculosis. The documented, practically complete inexistence of paratuberculosis promotes the profitability of animal husbandry and animal welfare.
