Improved Fusarium management with new biocontrol concepts (BIOTEHO)

Aims:

The project aims to discover microbe strains effective against Fusarium and develop them into biological control means particularly for barley and oat production. The effectiveness of potential microbe strains will be tested in the laboratory, greenhouse and field at different growth phases of the plants, including as seeds, and in plant residues remaining in the field. The use of biological pesticides as part of integrated pest management (IPM) will be evaluated.
