Signs of prehistoric cultivation in Finland, with special attention on plants of the genus Brassica (swede, turnip and cabbage)

Aims:

This project investigates the signs of cultivation in prehistoric Finland, especially the beginning of the use of the cabbage genus (swede, turnip and cabbage) in Finland. The purpose of the project is to find chemical remains of these food crops in prehistoric ceramics.
