Finnish Food Safety Authority Evira implemented in 2014 a baby food control project together with municipal food control authorities. Six municipal control authorities participated in the project.
The samples analysed in the control project represented commercial baby foods from the product selections of the most important brands on the Finnish market. The project focused on three different product categories: porridges and gruels, fruits purees and vegetable purees. A total of 43 samples were taken.
