Regulation

The tasks of the Food Market Ombudsman are provided in the Food Market Act. The aim of the Food Market Act is to improve the functioning of the food market and to safeguard the position of disadvantaged operators in the food supply chain. In addition to the Food Market Act, the Ombudsman and the Office are also steered by many other regulations, the most important of which is the EU UTP Directive.
